Hemp Flower: A Beautiful Plant

Hemp Flower: A Beautiful Plant

2 minute read

Both internationally and in the United States, the hemp plant has a lengthy and fascinating history. For a long time, the plant was misunderstood and demonized, but today it is becoming more and more popular. Hemp flower has a multitude of uses, which is why we take great care to ensure that the hemp we sell is of the finest quality. All of the wonderful items we sell are derived from the flower itself. Growing and cultivating hemp has been a commonplace practice in the United States for much of its history. Hemp was classified as a controlled substance under the Controlled Substances Act in the 1970s, effectively halting hemp production across the country.

It wasn't until the 2014 Farm Bill, and then the 2018 Farm Bill, that hemp production was legalized again. Hemp could now be cultivated and utilized in ways that marijuana could not. The majority of hemp farmed today is for CBD production. The main distinction is that hemp has a high CBD percentage but a very low THC concentration. Marijuana, on the other hand, has a high THC content but a low CBD percentage.

When we look back at the history of hemp, we can see that it is one of the oldest crops on record, having been introduced to Europe and beyond by 1200 B.C. So it's really no surprise that this plant is so beloved and sought after. The hemp plant is one of the most adaptable & versatile plants we have, and we hope it will continue to be used in all of its forms.

At Earth Flower Organics, we take great pride in all of our products, whether they be topicals, tinctures, teas, or hemp flower. We're committed to bringing the finest hemp flower products to the market, and we want that dedication to shine through to the hemp community.
